The Trucker is one of the highest-paying legal jobs. You select a delivery route from a board, hitch a trailer to your truck, and haul it to the destination. Higher skill levels unlock bigger, more powerful trucks.

Getting Started

Find the HQ

Head to the Trucker HQ in Paleto Bay (far north of the map). Look for the job marker.

Get hired

Walk up to the NPC and type /getjob. You must be within 5m.

Start working

Go to the nearby work marker and type /work. A delivery board UI opens - select a route.

Pick up the trailer

Drive your truck to the trailer spawn location shown on your map and hitch it.

Deliver

Follow the GPS to the delivery destination. Park within the checkpoint to complete the delivery.

Return

After delivering, return to the Paleto Bay depot to finish the session.

Pay

Pay is calculated per delivery and scales with your skill level. Trucking offers the highest base pay of all legal jobs.

Rules

If you detach or lose the trailer, a blip appears on your map to help you find it. If you exit the truck, you have 30 seconds to return or the session ends.
  • Routes expire after some time - the delivery board always shows currently available options.
  • The assigned truck and trailer are destroyed at the end of the session.
