The Licenses system tracks which permits your character holds. Certain activities - driving legally, piloting aircraft, operating watercraft, and carrying weapons - require the appropriate license. Licenses are obtained at the DMV building or granted by a staff member.

Getting a License - DMV

Visit the DMV building to take the official license exam.

Go to the DMV

Find the DMV marker on your map and enter the building.

Talk to the NPC

Approach the DMV clerk NPC and select which license exam you want to take.

Pay the exam fee

The driving exam costs $250. Other license types also have fees.

Complete the exam

A vehicle is provided near the DMV for the practical driving test. Follow the instructions - do not use your personal vehicle.

Receive your license

On passing, the license is added to your character and is valid for 100 hours of play time.

License Duration

All licenses issued at the DMV are valid for 100 hours of active playtime. After expiry, you must renew at the DMV.
License duration is tracked in hours played on the server, not real-world time.

Staff-Granted Licenses

Administrators (level 3 and above) can issue licenses directly without the exam using:

License Suspension

Law enforcement officers can suspend your driving license through in-game RP actions. A suspended license means you are driving illegally. It can also be issued as a punishment through the admin system. If your license has been wrongly suspended, file a Support Ticket on the panel.
