If you don’t own a house, you can rent one from a player who has listed theirs for rent. Renting gives you access to the house interior - you can spawn there and use /heal inside if the owner has the Comfort upgrade installed.
Moving In
Walk up to a house that shows a rent price on its label and use /renthouse. The first payment is taken immediately from your cash. After that, rent is deducted automatically every payday.
Requirements:
- You must not already own a house
- You must not already be renting another house
- You must have enough cash on hand for the first payment
While Renting
- You can enter and exit the house freely (even if it’s locked by the owner)
- You can use
/heal inside the house if the owner has the Comfort upgrade
- Rent is deducted from your account on each payday - make sure you have the funds
If you don’t have enough cash when payday comes, you may be automatically evicted. Keep your balance above the rent amount.
Moving Out
Use /unrenthouse at any time to stop renting. You’ll be moved out immediately with no refund for the current pay period.
The owner can also evict you at any time from their house management menu.
